BUYING AND CONSIGNMENT POLICY

What is the difference between buying and consignment? When we buy items outright the items purchased for resale will be given an "estimated sales price". This is the price Child's Play believes the items will sell for in the store. Child's Play will pay for those items at the time they are brought in. Items taken on consignment will be paid for after they have sold.

Buying percentage: The
seller is paid 40% of that estimate in cash or 50% in store credit. Example: The estimated selling price is $100.00, the seller can take $40.00 in cash or $50.00 in store credit.

Buying Days and Times: Wednesday - Friday 10:00 - 2:00
Saturday 11:00 – 2:00
Please call ahead to make sure the buyer is in. Vacations and sicknesses sometimes occur.
A maximum of 2 paper shopping bags of clean, current season, name brand merchandise will be accepted.

All clothing must be freshly laundered. Please carefully pre-sort your clothing and remove clothing that is stained, worn, dated, soiled or in need of repair. Due to the high volume of clothing we look through, we will not review bags that have not been presorted or that do not meet our standards. Garbage or plastic bags will not be accepted.

Toys must have all of their pieces
, be clean and in good working condition. We do not accept items such as Happy Meal toys or plush.

All furniture must meet federal and state regulations regarding safety
.
